By accessing or using instructos.org (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. About this site

InstructOS is an initiative of eCollective. This Site describes InstructOS, a model and set of tools for turning what you know into a course, a lesson, or a mini degree. The product is in development. Nothing described on this Site is available yet, and descriptions of it are forward-looking and may change.

The Site is operated by Jamnaytac LLC ("we," "us"). The Site does not offer user accounts, paid services, or anything to purchase, and nothing on it solicits contributions of any kind.

3. The term "mini degree"

"Mini degree" is InstructOS's own term for a structured sequence of lessons. It is not an academic degree. Nothing on this Site, and nothing published with InstructOS, confers accreditation, academic credit, or a recognized credential, and none is implied.

4. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise noted, the text, design, and graphics on the Site are owned by Jamnaytac LLC and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The InstructOS name and wordmark may not be used to imply endorsement or affiliation without written permission.

You are welcome to quote and share excerpts of the Site's written content for commentary, education, or discussion, with attribution and a link back to the source page.

5. Third-party sites

The Site links to www.ecollective.org, which is operated separately and has its own terms and privacy policy. Those terms, not these, govern your use of that site.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Site is provided "as is" for informational purposes. We make no warranties, express or implied, about its accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing on the Site is legal, financial, medical, or educational advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jamnaytac LLC and its members, managers, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site.
